By now you've likely heard the not-news-anymore that an aural repellant pitched so that "young people can hear it and old people cannot" is now being marketed as a cellular ringtone (teachers can't hear it). Can you hear it?
I felt a feeling of unhappiness because I couldn't hear it. Then I thought that *maybe* I heard it. So I turned the volume up - oopsy daisy! I can hear it fine.
It sounds like a horrible ringtone - it's worse than the one that goes da-dum ba DUM, da-dum ba DUM, but nothing can beat the one that goes nah dum nah da-dum, nah dum nah da-dum.
I heard about that on as it happens. And I'm nearly deaf from working in underground mines - I'll tell you - I heard it! So did Barbara Bud.

well, I noticed in the basement shopping center of my office tower they're playing Air Supply.

I can't hear anything, but my dog is barking like crazy.
